​​NTU alumni attend delightful get-togethers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City for the alumni associations’ election meetings

Hanoi
NTU Alumni Association (AA) (Hanoi) successfully held its election meeting and dinner gathering on 3 July at Sum Villa. Once every 3 years, NTUAA (Hanoi) holds its election meeting to elect new committee members as well as to discuss plans for the new term. The event was attended by some 25 alumni, as well as NTU Chief Alumni Officer Mr Guo Sam Nan and Director of International Alumni Network Mr Soon Min Yam.


Mr Guo briefly updated the alumni on the University’s alumni engagement plans and initiatives. He also encouraged the alumni to network and exchange ideas with fellow alumni in other cities, taking advantage of the valuable resources the global alumni network provides.

The third term committee (2016-2019) will be led by re-elected President of NTUAA (Hanoi) Mr Nguyen Duc Hung Linh (NBS/2006), who shared with the alumni and guests, the chapter’s future plans.

Upon the successful conclusion of the election, the alumni and guests had a pleasant time networking over good food and great company.

Ho Chi Minh City
On 4 July, NTU alumni residing in Ho Chi Minh City gathered at Lotte Legend Hotel for the NTU Alumni Association (Ho Chi Minh City)’s election meeting and ​a dinner get-together.

Also attending the event were NTU Chief Alumni Officer Mr Guo Sam Nan and Director of International Alumni Network Mr Soon Min Yam. Mr Guo updated the alumni on the University’s achievements and future alumni engagement plans. Mr Soon then spoke about the association’s progress the previous year.


The election meeting concluded with Mr Tran Hai Linh (EEE/2008) being elected as the new President of NTUAA (Ho Chi Minh City) for the third term. He and the committee are looking forward to strengthening the alumni-alma mater relationship.
