2nd LKCMedicine Inspirational Lecture
On 2 March 2013, LKCMedicine will present its 2nd Inspirational Lecture, to be given by Professor Sara Rankin, Professor of Leukocyte and Stem Cell Biology at Imperial College London’s National Heart and Lung Institute. To be held at NTU’s Lee Kong Chian Lecture Theatre, her lecture “How Scientists are Putting the Tooth Fairy out of Work” will present how stem cell therapy is now being heralded as the next big revolution in medicine. Prospective students and teachers have been invited to the Lecture, which will also give students an update of the School’s development and its latest admissions procedure. Registration starts at 9am.

L.I.F.E @NTU 2013
NTU will host this year’s Open House on 9 March 2013, during which respective schools, including LKCMedicine, will showcase their course offerings and unique features. Prospective students are invited to the scheduled talks, school tours and other student-centred activities intended to show that Learning is Fun and Exciting at NTU (L.I.F.E@NTU). LKCMedicine is featuring its innovative teaching approach and tools, hands-on medical science displays (e. g. seeing a beating heart) as well as its
state-of-the-art mobile learning experience at the whole day event that starts at 9.30am.
