The university's latest batch of graduates celebrates their achievements at Welcome Class 2010 Alumni Party @ Zouk.
Class of 2010, you have graduated!
Not only have they graduated with degrees from a reputable global university, the Class of 2010 surpassed the record for the Graduation Class Gift campaign. Their participation rate was almost 71 per cent!
The figure was the highest since the campaign was initiated five years ago to support student bursaries.Warm welcome
NTU President Dr Su Guaning led the university in welcoming them into the folds of the Nanyang alumni family, which comprises more than 144,000 alumni spread across 100 countries to date.
Dr Su got the Welcome Class 2010 Alumni Party@Zouk kicked off after launching it onstage, along with four from the Class of 2010.
The four were: Dimas Harry Priawan, Winston Chow, Ahmad Mubarak Bin Amir Hamzah and Lim Jieying. They each represented their schools, namely, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Business School and Materials Science & Engineering, respectively.
Clara Lam, an alumna of the Nanyang Business School, came to the party with six of her peers and best buddies. Ms Lam said: “We saw it as our last event together before we embark on a new chapter and start working.” All seven had spent time together since their first year at NTU.
