Karolinksa Institutet Visits LKCMedicine
LKCMedicine was honoured to host two key Karolinska Institutet (KI) individuals in September. The first was newly appointed President Professor Anders Hamsten on 4 September 2013, who was here for the very first time. On 25 September 2013, it was Dean of Doctoral Education Professor Anders Gustafsson’s turn to visit. Our visitors were given an overview of LKCMedicine and insights into our curriculum, pedagogy and research, as well as a tour of our new Novena Campus. One of the world’s leading medical universities, the visits were part of KI’s plan to strengthen ties with NTU on joint programmes, particularly with LKCMedicine.
