My name is Nan Dar Soe. I joined NIE's Academic Computing and Information Services (ACIS), Integrated Student and Academic Administration Computing (ISAAC) project team as an Executive Programmer in November 2010.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the University of Computer Studies, Yangon, Myanmar. My first job designation was a programming lecturer in an IT training centre in Myanmar. After working for 2 years, I changed my career to software development. Elipva Limited was the first company in Singapore I joined, as a .Net consultant. My responsibility was to develop an Enterprise Project for the Ministry of Transport using .Net Framework.
Before I joined NIE, I was working in an Engineering IT Unit of NUS as a software developer for one year. The job scope included maintaining the existing applications and developing new systems for the department using C#, ASP.net, and MVC with Nhibernate built on Visual Studio and .Net framework.
My favorite pastimes are reading books and enjoying music entertainment. I also enjoy the nature and am interested in religion.
Thank you NIE for your warm welcome!
