Professor Jenny Higham
She’s a leading clinician and renowned academic. Dubbed as one of Britain’s most dynamic women, Professor Jenny Higham is LKCMedicine’s newly appointed Senior Vice-Dean.
With a career spanning over 30 years, Professor Higham provides leadership excellence for the School as the forerunner of negotiations since its inception.
“It’s amazing that we’re virtually at the end of the development period, and now we’re into delivery,” she says, excited that the School is just weeks from opening.
A notable expert in reproductive medicine and education, she holds concurrent leadership roles at Imperial College London as Vice-Dean and Director of Education in the Faculty of Medicine. She also chairs the Imperial Project Board and is a member of the LKCMedicine Governing Board.

Her no-nonsense, high-achieving approach inspires her to make LKCMedicine “the absolute school of top choice” where graduates will immediately be identified with a “brand value of excellence and assured quality.”
“It’s going to be a phenomenal school. I would be so proud if I were to attend here myself,” she adds.
The mother of three has often been lauded as the epitome of the modern woman. In 2011 she won ‘Mentor of the Year’ in the Public Services Category at the Women of the Future Awards in London.
Even more recently [in 2013] she was awarded the prestigious President and Rector’s Medal for Outstanding Contribution to Teaching Excellence. These accolades celebrate her strength and dynamism to become an inspirational figure worthy of emulation.
In her downtime the world-class gynaecologist enjoys spending time with her husband and children, where a typical weekend would comprise of a run, calling in en-route to their favourite Soho patisserie for breakfast. The family are also avid art lovers and skiing enthusiasts.
