Transforming for the future
By Anne Loh, Editor, The LKCMedicine
When the much-anticipated inaugural Transform MedEd came to a close, many of the speakers and participants surely felt it was two well-spent but intense days of listening to medical education colleagues from around the world on their research projects, gaining insight into the developments and innovation at work elsewhere and getting the opportunity to dream about what the future holds for medical education and healthcare. We've covered the highlights here.
Meet the new Assistant Dean for Year 3, Associate Professor Koh Nien Yue, who sat down for a chat with us about what drives her in her work and what she thinks is important for medical students who want to do well for their MBBS and as doctors.
We also check in with the current intake of PhD students on their research interests and hear about a Year 5 student's meaningful and fruitful overseas elective in India.
Don't miss the latest news and happenings as well. Happy reading!
