To help undergraduates understand forex trading, OANDA Asia Pacific organized FXUni, a two-month forex education programme and contest. The programme equips the participants with the basics tools and knowledge of the forex market, and the inter-university contest provided a platform for them to apply the skills they had acquired.

Kenn Wong Kee Wen, a 1st-year Bachelor of Accountancy and Business student at NBS, bagged the second prize in the FXUni contest, despite strong competition from other participants from NTU, NUS, SMU and SIM. He emphasized the importance of discipline and humility in being able to trade forex successfully - discipline in setting rules and following them, and humility in taking a loss when necessary.
