A night among friends
Members of the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering Alumni Association wrap up the work week with a chill-out session.

The NTU School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering Alumni Association (MAEAA) was determined to let members and fellow alumni forget about work and simply hang out with one another.

What better way to go about it than a Friday evening of chilling out at one of the best retro bars in town.

MAEAA organised a chill-out session at Boulevard Restrobar, located at the former 1920s colonial Singapore Traffic Police Headquarters. Now known as Red Dot Traffic, the place saw 29 alumni and their partners and guests turning up.

More than a chill
President of the MAEAA, Mr Kelvin Chen, also joined in the session.

He took the opportunity to highlight the importance of networking in the working world today. Urging all alumni to keep in close contact with each other and the association, he emphasised that the MAEAA serves as a bridge to connect and unite all members of the association.

Among the many friends who were enjoying themselves at the chill out session, some have not seen each other since they graduated from NTU. They wasted no time in reminiscing over their good old days and having a good laugh.

Old ties were renewed and friendship rekindled; it was indeed a happy occasion. The smiling faces, happy banters and loud clinking glasses said it all.

With the organiser ensuring great food and fine wine were served, it was hard not to be enthusiastic.

Will alumni be looking forward to the next chill out? You bet!

The chill out session was held on Friday 25 February.
