Mohammad Zaid Ibrahim
Hi Everyone!
My name is Mohammad Zaid Ibrahim, and you can call me Zaid. I joined NIE Computer Services Centre (CSC) as a Network Engineer in the Operations Support Team on 8 Nov 2011. I graduated from NTU with a Bachelor in Computer Engineering in 2008, thus I am very familiar with the beautiful Yunnan Garden Campus!
Prior to joining NIE, my working experience includes a Java programming internship at Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA in Stuttgart, and a database/IT support stint at Credit Suisse, testing and commissioning CCTV systems for the Dubai Metro project. For the last two years, I worked as an IT consultant at Edgilis, a local French SME.
My capabilities and interests are in computer networks, telecommunications, cyber security and web technologies. My hope is to contribute in many ways in providing excellent computer services to the Institute, as well as to continue learning and grow as a professional, individual and team member.
In whatever spare time I have, I like to tinker with my computer and motorcycle. My other hobbies include soccer, swimming, bowling and a game of billiards.
